SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE

Since 1977, the Potter County Housing Authority has offered to income eligible clients various rental assistance and self sufficiency programs.  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides subsidy funding directly to our Housing Authority to enable us to offer these programs throughout Potter County.

Potter County Housing is pleased to make available 295 rental contracts to private sector landlords known as "Housing Vouchers."  Vouchers enable our income-eligible clients to rent units of their choice that meet program standards.

Participation is easy for both tenants and landlords.  Income guidelines are listed below, and apartment inspection standards are available upon request.
